In Search of the Wind by John Su

Argh, I knew John Su was awesome at illustrating in Flash, but ANIMATION, TOO?

I think just in terms of visuals, he's right up there with Adam Phillips. Adam just has more skill with actual animation.

Either way, I still have a LOT to learn. :C

This tops even John Su's work. For those of you who don't yet know about this, it's called Wakfu and it is amazing. It's animated in Flash, which is mind-blowing. But I assume they do a lot of post production work on it in After Effects. Either way, it's gorgeous and awesome and you should try to find the show and watch it.

The game the series is based on is also made in Flash, and it's pretty cool as well.

That's all for now! Stay awesome!

Waterman The Movie

Hey guys, give some money love to the Waterman Movie project on Kickstarter. I used to love the hell out of those Flash animations, and I give them due credit in giving me the confidence to make my own series. So without the work of Bryan Waterman, you might not have ever seen Hyperboy. So donate some money, we have to start contributing to indie projects like this if we ever want the industry to change for the better.

I'll be doing the exact same thing soon, with Zeus Guy. I'll need all of your support to help fund it since, to quote Bryan, I am only ONE MAN. I need help from my fans, and so does he. For now, donate what you can to his project, and when the time comes, I'll politely ask you guys to throw some money in my direction. It would mean a lot! :)

Stay awesome!

Hyperboy Fan Videos!

So apparently, Hyperboy has gained quite a bit of extra love lately. How did I miss this stuff??

This fella makes cool sprites for the Mugen game engine. I think he might have asked permission to use Hyperboy a while ago, but I totally forgot about it. People will sometimes ask to use Hyperboy for cameos and then nothing ever comes of it. But this sprite is looking badass! I'm totally excited to play this! :D

This is also pretty neat. Definitely flattering to see somebody put in the time to make something like this. :)

I honestly never thought someone would ever make a Hyperboy AMV. The choice of music is a bit odd (even though I have seen Hollywood Undead in concert and I like em, I just don't think it fits Hyperboy that well...) I also wish the compression and stuff wasn't so shitty, but I really appreciate them taking the time to make this! It's very awesome! :)

SEND ME THE STUFF YOU GUYS DO. I LIKE SEEING IT.

Also, I'm a college graduate now? Huh? When did this happen? :O

STAY AWESOME, DUDES.

Mr. Fresh by Shaz Lym

MR.FRESH - Chapter 1 - Purple Shadows from Shaz Lym on Vimeo.

Argh, that is epic. I need to learn how to Sylar people's talents out of them.

AHHHH, THIS MOVIE KEEPS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER!!!

I doubt the game will be as awesome as its trailer. But still...that looks pretty rad.

Production on Zeus Guy has entered into the animatic phase, and I'm currently on Scene 4 out of like...12. It's pretty tedious, but it's looking pretty good, I think. :)

STAY FRESH.
